This is Excalibur. It's an object for a classic sword in the stone illustration that I'm working on. As you can see, the modeling aspects of the weapon is complete. It now needs to be UV wrapped so I can apply a custom design work to etch into the blade, make the leather appearance for the grip and to make the displacement mapping for the counterweight. Because the model would quickly become polygon heavy with the displacement, that displacement will be used to generate a normal's map will would then get applied to this low-polygon model.
BTW, this is modeled in Hexagon and will have the next steps done in Carrara.
