This character is being created for a children's book. The floating monster doesn't have a name yet, so I simply refer to him as the floating monster for the time being. It is an intricate monster that has numerous eyes that can be independent of each other. As you can see at this stage, the basic structure is made and some tweeking is needed for the eye lids on each eye stock. Then I will UV unwrap, texture and rig for animation. Although, not really intended for animation, the character is being made ready for that to allow for easy posing in still frame renders.
This character is not the main character in the story that I'm writting. He is a one character in a small group of monster friends to a child.
